Alpaca is a luxurious natural fiber valued for its softness, warmth, and durability. With proper care, alpaca garments can maintain their beauty and comfort for many years.
We recommend washing alpaca knitwear by hand in cold water using a mild detergent specifically designed for delicate fibers. Avoid twisting or wringing the garment, as this may stretch the knit structure. After washing, gently press out excess water with a clean towel and lay the garment flat to dry away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
To preserve its shape, alpaca knitwear should be folded rather than hung. Hanging may cause the fibers to stretch over time. When storing your garment for extended periods, keep it in a cool, dry place and protect it from moths using natural repellents such as cedar or lavender.
With a little care, your alpaca piece will remain soft, elegant, and timeless season after season.
